Miss BC

Some of my most cherished memories of the competition include meeting so many wonderful and talented people and competing in the Miss Canada competition in Toronto.

In the years since winning the title I've completed an MBA and am working on a PhD at the KTH Royal Institute in Stockholm. I also co-authored a textbook that is used at over 30 Universities and Colleges across the country and started a PR and marketing agency called Finch Media. In 2016, I was nominated as a YWCA Vancouver Woman of Distinction in Business and Professions. I also have an adorable 11-month old daughter and have been a proud volunteer in my community.

Some of the valuable lessons that I learnt from competing in Miss Fraser Valley that have helped me in my career were becoming more comfortable with public speaking and interview skills and the reinforcement of the importance of community and community service.
